Champion Hoodie Remix

I don't have a whole lot of fashion disputes with my almost-13YO son. The current style trend seems to be what I call "Hobo Chic" or "Runway Homeless". Baggy, ripped, faded jeans and shirts a couple sizes too big.

It's one of those 'pick your battles' scenarios and despite the fact that he looks like he lives under a bridge, he looks the same as all his peers...seriously, I just don't care about it.

There is a kind of fixation with the hoodies. So when I got some scoop on a hoodie designing contest of sorts from Champion. You go to the site and using color palettes, designs and a blank hoodie to start, you can design your own. The cut off date is March 31 and the winning hoodie will get made by Champion.

My son, as the artsy fartsy type he is got on and played around with options for quite some time on the site before settling on his current color trend of black and white. Geez, kid, kick it up a notch!!
