Vaseline Intensive Rescue clinical Therapy

I'm one of those super lucky people who have extremely dry skin. I look scaly and crackly all the time pretty much.

And in the winter its like I got captured by an alien life form and they did experiments where they sucked all the good stuff and LIFE FORCE out of my epidermis and then dropped me back off to roam the planet, dry and flaky, scaring people.

I got this Vaseline Intensive Rescue Clinical Therapy lotion to try out.

First, I must admit that I have probably a dozen different brands of lotions somewhere throughout my house because since I need it so badly, I have sort of a compulsive buying disorder when it comes to lotions.

Second, I admit, that my horrible, nasty feet get the Vaseline treatment as often as I think of it. And be Vaseline treatment, I mean I slather my feet in a foot balm I have but then I put straight Vaseline (yes, the goopy sludge in the plastic tubs) on my callused heels and big toes. Then I put socks on the big, sticky mess and get in bed, hoping some repair will be done.

Anyway, I tried this new lotion and here is what I liked best about it
  1. the scent is nice. It's a simple, light scent.
  2. Perhaps most important, the consistency of the lotion. Sometimes a get lotions that are so slimy and thin, they don't make a dent in my horrible dryness. Other times I get lotions that are so thick, they don't seem to soak in. This stuff was just right, kind of like "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". So, since the consistency was right, it actually felt like it was making progress on my skin's dryness.
There's a word-of-mouth campaign that started in Alaska. I can only say that in Iowa, we're giving the below zero temps our best efforts this winter as well! But you can check that out for yourself at the website or just watch the following clip.
