Kohl's 25 Deals and $25 Gift Card Giveaway!

There are two things you might already know.

1 - the economy is bad and everyone can't stop talking about it
2 - Black Friday, despite everything, was better than anticipated

So, either everyone's saying "screw it, I gotta have me some Christmas presents" or they still shopping, they're just shopping smarter and not sticking everything on their credit cards, or whatever the case may be.

Or they could be like my college roommate who used to sell plasma whenever she could because that girl was always broke. Problem was, she was also always sick and her blood was all icky and nasty and the plasma people didn't want her germy plasma...poor thing.

But I digress...

You've also heard of Kohl's, and you know they have a lot of good deals pretty much all the time.

This year they're having a 25 Deals campaign for each day leading up to Christmas with a great deal of discounts going on.

I have a widget with more information at the bottom of the blog...check it out!

Also, someone will be getting a $25 Kohl's gift card!! Leave a comment, and in your comment you have to name who is your hardest person to shop for and why.

I'll leave comments open until 12 noon Central on Wednesday, December 10th.

Well I agree. I think that everyone is trying to be just a little more cautious but still have the spirit of christmas and wants to still wants to give. :)

Every year it is hard to buy for my mother in law, Joan and my father in law, Rollie. They are the type of people that if they want or need anything Joan just goes out and gets it. So I have to think of something that they don't think of getting for themselves which is always a challenge. Last year I had to explain to Rollie what his gift was. Now that he knows...he loves it! :) They are also the kind of people that love to give but don't want anything in return... so a double wammy!!! :)

Here's to how many days left of Christmas shopping. Whoo hoo.. Dec 10th is my birthday! Big 37!

You KNOW I'm a Kohl's whore.

Now, the hardest person I have to buy for is Mr. Hot. The man has more clothes than a 3rd world country could wear in a year (as evidenced by the purple pants). A power tool is dangerous in his hands (as evidenced by the missing finger from when he was 13). He rarely shaves and NEVER wears aftershave or cologne (his facial hair just doesn't grow that fast).

But at Kohl's I ALWAYS find something. A saucepan (he's an excellent cook), a game (they have great toys!), even slippers (to replace the funky Spongebob ones he insists on wearing!)

The hardest person to shop for is my husband. He´s happy with anything and he´s happy with nothing but I´m always searching for that something special that will make him say, "Wow, that´s exactly what I needed!" Maybe they sell it at Kohl´s for $25 or less?

Without a doubt, my older daughter, Carrie, is a royal pain to shop for!
She's very fussy about clothes, has to be "brand name" or it's no good! And, that's just for openers. I can't keep track of sizes for her -she's tall, fairly slim (but she's put on a few pounds in the past 2 years or so which changes the sizes I used to remember. Then there is style -she generally likes things in a certain style -no fad type stuff, mainly pretty classic, which you might think would be easier but it's not because you see, she has more clothes now than anyone in their right mind would possibly need! Because a couple of years back, I gave her a table cloth (Christmas design) and a table runner -also Christmas theme -that I had hand-embroidered and she loved them, and because it is sometimes really difficult for me to get out that often to do any real shopping, this year, guess what I have planned to give her? If you guessed more hand-embroidered items, you would be right! Actually, from all the embroidered stuff I've been doing since mid-August now, each of my kids is getting some embroidered stuff this year -even my son! Hey, everyone can use pillow cases, can't they?
But a certificate to Kohl's -now that is somoething I would put forth the extra effort to get over to the nearest Kohl store (one about 35 miles from here in State College -so it would be a really cool thing to receive, should I be so lucky!

The hardest persons for me are my brothers...unlike me...they have lots and lots of dollars...and so when they want something...they buy it. So, I usually end up making them baked goods. They may have lots of dollars but they both have wives that can't cook and certainly don't bake. The Kohl's card however would come in very hand for everyone on my list. Those same people that I haven't even bought one gift for yet, including my childen. HELP!!!

The hardest person has always been my dad! I remember getting him one of those zip lines for his keys one year...wow, bad gift!! He's tough!

Thanks for offering the gift card...it's definitely a tough year with the economy...I know whoever wins will be happy! We just got a Kohl's! Yippee!!

Since we do not have much money we only buy gifts for our 3 kids. My 16 year old son is the hardest for me to buy for because there are no more cars, balls or other little boy toys. His things of interest are more grown up now which mean they cost way more too.

Oh, this would be amazing. Please enter me! My dad is probably one of THE hardest people to shop for. I think just any boy in my life..including my brother and friends are hard to shop for. I just never really know what they want or would like. Maybe it's because I'm a girl, but I don't know!

Wonderful! I would love to win this to give to that disabled vet's family I mentioned on my blog.

My FIL b/c he's satan, and every single present I've ever bought him he's told ME to return for him. LiTeRaLlY.

Hardest person to shop for: my husband because every time I buy something for him, I give it to him right away and can't wait for freaking Christmas. Every.single. time.
