My boys have done the collectible card thing to death. They've had the Yu-Gi-Oh (I think that's how you spell it) and the Pokemon. They are very into Funkeys right now and have been creating their own Funkey trading cards.
My girls feign some interest in these card things of their brothers, but it's not really their gig.

Bella Sara figured it out. Trading cards for girls. It's all magical pretty girly stuff and they've made real trading cards like the boy ones except, you know, they're girly!
Starting November 6th, you can check out an online celebration at the Bella Sara website where you can get prizes, birth certificates, read stories and tons more stuff.
They're very cute collectible cards, as you can see from Emersyn's facial expression, she was quite enthralled with them. I'll be looking out for more of these for gifts for my three nieces and for stocking stuffers for my own girls.

My girls love them so much (mostly my 6-year-old) that I hinted to my sister to pick up more for Christmas!!! (they have cute Bella Sara gift tins at WalHell)
